The Majzoob who called himself rabbul alameen

This book arwah thalaathah aka Hikayate awliyah (or lessons and morals from awliyah) is a deobandi book enlisting lessons from the "awliyah " as per the deobandhi akabireen. . In summary this story contains a story about a 'majzoob' who used to call himself "Rabbul `Alameen (Lord of the worlds)"  The following passage from a lengthy story  is translated to show who the awliyah are for the deobandhi akabireen.

Note: there are very ultra local urdu words in this passage. I will try my best to translate them so as to retain the original meaning of the sentence. Anyone who wants word to word may refer to the Urdu screenshots.

Khan sahab narrated that there was a "Majzoob" who lived in Rampur who used to call himself "Rabbul `Alameen". The house he stayed in furnished a very fine bed upon which was spread a very elegant bedsheet and he used to sit on his bed with utmost elegance. Near the head-rest of this bed was a chauki (something like a flat box or platform) upon which his praying mat was spread. Afront the bed were some sacks spread and everything in the room was placed in an organized manner and tidiness was ensured such that we wouldn't find a speck of dirt in the dwelling .  He used to adorn himself with the poshest of clothes and was very jolly.

His sermons used to be very mesmerising such that it dare not happen that his tongue slips or he mutters. But most of the times his sermons used to be meaningless and worthless (word unclear).  During his sermons he used to at times do "Foo Foo Shoo Shoo"  He had a servant with him and his house used to be closed all the time.  If someone would come and knock the door thrice and recieved no reply then he would return but if the "Majzoob" wanted to invite someone in then he would ask his servant to open the door and his servant would have the guest remove his shoes outside and then he would place it in the shoe rack

So this guest would then present himself in front of the Majzoob and would narrate his need . The Majzoob had a rule that he used to often say/do "foo foo shoo shoo" towards the right side, left side, top and bottom.

It was famously attributed to him that once to commit suicide he stabbed himself due to which his intestines came out. Upon seeing this his sister started crying. So seeing his crying sister he re-placed his intestines back in and the wound got healed (instantly).

Once me and my uncle (i.e paternal aunty's husband) went to the Majzooba and as per his habit, he started " Foo Foo and Shoo Shoo" and then he said that on such and such time rabbul `alameen (addressing himself) wanted to meet rabbul `alameen and such happened and such and such and such and then he opened showed us his stomach where we could see a (stitched sort of) line from his chest to his belly button which showed that he did open himself up .

Prophet comes in the dream of Imdadullah makki taking the form of rashed gangoi

Hadhrat Haji Imdadullah Makki narrates how the prophet (s.a.w) came in his dream taking the form of rashid ahmad gangoi and when the prophet (s.a.w) was taking his leave, haji sahab questioned : " what we read about your description in the books was different but now you have taken the form of gangoi... why so?  when asked why so, he (s.a.w) said it's because he loved gangoi (and the bullocks continue)

Remember oh Muslims the prophet emphatically said that the shaytaan cannot take the prophet's actual form even in the dream but seems like rashid ahmad gangoi can .....

DEOBANDHIS AND THEIR UNIQUE DREAMS

1. Rasheed Ahmad Gungohi writes in Al-Baraheen al-Qatiya about the superiority of the Madrasa (school) of Deoband … a noble person was blessed with a vision of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam), in which he saw Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) speaking in Urdu. The noble person asked, ‘How do you know this language, while you are an Arab?’ He (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said, ‘From the time I have been in contact with the scholars of the school of Deoband, I’ve known this language’.” Rasheed Ahmad Gungohi comments, “From this we understand the greatness of this Madrasa (school).”[1] (Click to view scanned image of the quote)

2. Moulana Zakariyah says: “Once he (Imdadullah Muhajir Makki) saw in a dream that he could not lift his feet on account of the awe, which pervaded his being. Suddenly, his honorable ancestor, Mulla Bulaqi appeared and taking hold of Haji Sahib’s hand, presented him to Rasoolullah. In turn, Rasoolullah took hold of his (Haji Sahib’s) hand and assigned him into the care of Shaikh Mashaikh Hazrat Mia’nji Nur Muhammad.”[2] (click to view the scanned image of this quote)

3. Moulana Zakariyah says: “… Hazrat’s (Imdadullah Muhajir Makki) sister-in-law saw Rasoolullah in a dream saying: “Get up! (Move away!) I shall prepare the food of Imdadullah’s guests who are Ulema.”[3]

4. Moulana Zakariyah says: “Once a man saw in his dream that Hazrat Haji Sahib (Imdadullah Muhajir Makki) was wearing the Mubarak cloak of Rasoolullah…”[4]

5. Moulana Zakariyah says: “After Ziyarat of Rasoolullah’s grave, he (Imdadullah Muhajir Makki) derived fuyudh of that holy place. During his time in Medina, while in Muraqabah in the area known as ‘a garden from the gardens of Jannah’ (i.e. the area between the Sacred grave and blessed minbar), he had the honor of making Ziyarat of Rasoolullah, who placed an amamah (turban) on his head.”[5]

6. Moulana Zakariyah says: “In one of the villages in the district of Surat, there was an Imam of the Masjid, whose name is Sulaiman Mia. He dreamt that two Buzurgs with the holiest countenance were sitting on a throne. Sulaiman Mia asked this man: “Who are these great people?” He replied: “The great one is Rasoolullah and the other is Moulana Rasheed Ahmad, the Shaikh of Moulvi Ahmad Buzurg, former principal of Dhabel Madrasa.”[6]

Qasim Nanotwi can show the Prophet (saw) to the people anytime anywhere

Qasim Nanotwi can show the Prophet (saw) to the people In “Arwah Thalathah” story n° 267, it is written:

“Diwan Muhammad Yaseen Sahib Deobandi said that Hazrat Nanowti went in Qadhipur in the ten first days of Muharram, and the Rawafids had invited Hazrat to their Majlis. Hazrat accepted this on the condition that after the people have given their speeches, he would also say something, and they disagreed with this. And after some religious talk, all these Rawafid said: if you show us the Prophet (saw) in a state of being awake, and Huzur (saw) tells with his tongue that what you are saying is right, then we will enter Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah. He replied: if you are committed to this, then I am ready to show you the Prophet (saw) in a state of being awake, but the Rawafid flew away.”

Ashraf Ali Thanvi wrote (justifying) in note: “Either he had the power to do this Tasarruf (control) or he relied on “If he takes an oath upon Allah, Allah will make him free from it (oath)””

Ganghoi never took a breathe except after consulting the prophet (s.a.w) for 12 years

Gangohi not doing anything without asking the Prophet (saw) !

it is written: “Once Hazrat Maulana Ganghoi (rah) was very enthusiastic and there was a discussion on the topic of Tasawwur e Shaykh (imagining the face of his Shaykh always when doing Zikr and others) and he asked: “Shall I mention it?” and they said yes, and he said again: “Shall I mention it?” and they said yes, and he said again: “Shall I mention it?” and they said yes. Then he said: “For three complete years, the face of Hazrat Imdad was remaining in my heart, and I did not do anything without asking him. “ Then he became enthusiastic again and said: “Shall I mention it?” and they said: yes surely mention it…: “For 12 years Hazrat (the Prophet (saw)) remained in my heart and I did not do anything without asking him.” And after saying this he became more enthusiastic and said: “Shall I mention it?” and they said yes, but he remained silent, and people insisted and he said: “leave it” and tomorrow they insisted again and he said: “Brother, I remained then in the state of Ihsan”.

Only if the sahaaba knew the secret recipee of ganghoi , they would have too been able to consult the prophet (s.a.w) in matters of war-fare and especially the khilafah.
